HAVE QUESTIONS ABOUT BOOK PUBLISHING?

Do I need to choose an illustrator for a picture book?

Do I need to write the entire book before getting it published?

What’s the difference between an agent and a publisher?

Do I pay to get my book edited or published? If so, how much?

How do I find the right agent or publisher for my book?

Alan Elliott, author of 20+ books, will present “The AbCs of Getting Your Book Published,” a detailed overview of what it takes for an author to get published – traditionally or self-published. This includes topics such as book genres, fiction vs. nonfiction, writing a query letter or proposal, submitting book ideas to publishers, dealing with contracts, promoting books, and doing it all yourself in the self-published market.
