Preparing for Publication with Cherie Dargan

Your manuscript, short story, and articles are written, but are you ready for publication?
Author Cherie Dargan is a retired Community College teacher who reinvented herself in retirement. As an active volunteer, writer, blogger, family historian, and techi, Dargan has mastered writing historical accounts and successfully navigating the publication world. Through her own experiences, Dargan developed a series titled GRANDMOTHER’S TREASURES about a midwestern family, American war, and the history quilts hold.
Cherie will share with you her steps for preparing for publication.
Dargan’s writings include the short story “The Scars You See,” which will be published in the Writers of Cedar Valley 2021 anthology, and the chapter “Mind and Soil: An Iowa Town Grow Writers” in the SOWER AND THE SEER: PERSPECTIVE IN THE INTELLECTUAL HISTORY OF THE AMERICAN MIDWEST, March 2021.
