With so much happening in our personal lives, the news, politics, and the world, it’s easy to get overwhelmed. As writers, we’re in our heads a good deal of the time already, so becoming overwhelmed takes up valuable creative space and energy.

RACHEL PILCHER is a writer, a writing educator/coach, and micro-press publisher at Sleeping Panther Press. Rachel holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and History from Texas Wesleyan University and a Master of Library Science from Texas Woman’s University. She has spent the last few decades working in publishing and k-12 education. Rachel has written essays, articles, short fiction, poetry, and short screenplays found in various publications.
