ABOUT STEPHEN: Stephen Manning is a past president of the DFW Writers Workshop and the founder of the Workshop's popular writers conference, DFWCon. He is also serving as this year's director of the conference, which will mark its 10th anniversary in May. Stephen is the author of World War II nonfiction books, "The Courage of Common Men" and "Texans Touched by World War II."
