Indie Author Day 2025

Thanks to everyone who participated and attended an outstanding event on Nov 15, 2025, featuring Self-Pub and Indie Press Author Panels, Fort Worth Poetry Society Slam, Refreshments, Keynote Speaker Russell C. Connor, and Book Signings. A truckload of hard-won wisdom and advice was shared, we heard some amazing poetry, and everyone had a great time.

Russell C. Connor has been writing horror since the age of five, and has self-published three short story collections, nine eNovellas, and seventeen novels. His books have topped the Amazon bestseller lists many times, as well as winning two Independent Publisher Awards and a Reader’s Favorite Award. He has been a member of the DFW Writers’ Workshop since 2006 and served as president for two years. He lives in Fort Worth, Texas with his rabid cat, demented film collection, mistress of the dark, and demonspawn daughter.
