David Douglas was born and raised in Jonesboro, AR, and has a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics degree from Arkansas State University. After college, he spent several years working as website developer, but in 2014, he moved to McKinney, Texas and began pursuing his dream of a career as a writer. His first success came from the short story, The Bruised Banana, which won awards in two Texas writing competitions. Presently, David is continuing work on his first novel, a romance/mystery set in Texas, and is an active member in several writers organizations — two of which, he is on the Board of Directors.
