Romance is in the air! Bring a dish to share as we have our first potluck of 2026 at the Grapevine Convention Center. Doors will open at 6:30pm, so come early and fill your plate with food and love. We'll also feature an optional Valentine's-themed read room.

Celebrate literacy at North Central Texas College at Lion’s Shelf with an evening book reading and review of the adolescent fiction novel Steelwing by Matthew Rollins on February 19, 6:00–8:00 PM at the NCTC Denton Campus. Attendees will have the opportunity to discuss the book, explore its themes, and engage with the author.

The event will be held in Room 212, with free parking available in the campus garage.

Note that this week we'll be meeting at the Grapevine Public Library.

Denton is hosting its first annual READiculous Book Palooza on February 28th! 

The event will include reading, writing, and book customizing workshops, local author signings, live author readings, book and reading related vendors, and reading activities for all ages. Participating businesses in Denton will be hosting individually scheduled events and activities with fun book themed drinks.
