ERIN LEE GOLDEN | Crafting Children's Literature

Have you always dreamed of writing for kids and teens but don't know where to begin?

Erin Lee Golden, children's book author and TCU instructor, will teach Crafting Children's Literature, Session 2 of the DAWG 2020 Summer Mini-Workshop Series.

We will explore the range of children's literature, including picture books, chapter books, middle grade, and young adult. We'll examine the fundamentals of each category and look at genres, content, styles, and examples of books for each age. Attendees will also participate in writing exercises to hone their kid lit craft.

Registration is open!  Reserve your spot by clicking here!

Pour a refreshing drink, grab something to snack on, and be prepared to jot down a few ideas. This workshop will be provided through Zoom, but there is no need to have a Zoom account. If you have a Zoom account, please be sure that it is updated.
