Dallas Area Writers Group — Evolution of Scene with Ann Fields

EVOLUTION OF SCENE:

How to Move a Scene from Raw to Critique-Ready

In this interactive workshop, writers will discuss the elements that make a scene, how to plan a scene, and the six rotations a scene undergoes before it is ready to be presented to a critique group.

Designed for fiction writers. All levels of writers are welcome.

Ann published four romance novels and one novella under her pen name of Anna Larence before she encountered her first ghost. That brush with the supernatural shifted her focus from love and happily ever after to love in the here and after. In her novel, Fuller’s Curse and her short stories featured in Voices from the Block (Volumes I & II) and Lyrical Darkness, she explores life in all its many dimensions.
