DFW Writers’ Workshop is very proud to announce that the Euless Public Library will be hosting the 2015 DFW Teen Writers' Workshop on Saturdays from 2 until 4 (ish). The program starts on June 13 and enrollment is limited, so don't delay.

This program is 100% free and at least twice your daily recommended amount of fun. We've got a great line-up of speakers - this year we will even cover comics and graphic novels - and we are working on some fun extras to make this a summer to remember.

All participants must:
* Be between 13 and 18 and not yet graduated high school
* Commit to regular attendance (audit/drop-in spaces are available-- see registration page)

Ken Ingle's First Contact has generated some film interest, and he has found a screenwriter for the project.

Rosemary Clement-Moore has a book signing for Texas Gothic on July 16th at the Barnes and Noble in Arlington from 1-3pm.

The DFW Teen Writers' Workshop started on June 18th and will be held on Saturday from 1-3pm until July 30 (no session on July 2). If you are interested in volunteering as a monitor or critiquer, all help is welcome. Also, don't forget to spread the word. More attendees are always welcome. The DFW Writers’ Workshop is offering a summer program for teens. DFWWW has helped writers for 34 years and our membership boasts over 300 traditionally published books.

The DFW Teen Writers’ Workshop is open to teens between the ages of 13-17. Sessions begin on June 18^th and run through July 30^th (no session on July 2^nd for the Fourth of July holiday).

This isn’t just some summer writing program. We’ll cover the basics of story, conflict, character, and voice, but you’ll be getting it from authors like:

A. Lee Martinez – author of Gil’s All Fright Diner, In the Company of Ogres, A Nameless Witch, The Automatic Detective, Too Many Curses, Monster, and Divine Misfortune. His next novel, Chasing the Moon, will be released on May 25^th.

Candy Havens – author of Charmed & Dangerous, Charmed & Ready, Charmed & Deadly, Like A Charm, The Demon King and I, and Dragons Prefer Blondes, and the biography Joss Whedon: The Genius Behind Buffy. She is one of the nation's leading entertainment journalists. Her entertainment columns can be read in more than 600 newspapers across the country.

Jenny Martin – writer of young adult novels, represented by Sara Crowe at Harvey Klinger Agency. She has taught classes on writing at the DFW Writers' Conference. She has contributed her writing know-how to industry blogs, and is a member of the ALA, TLA, and AASL.

Rosemary Clement-Moore – author of the Maggie Quinn: Girl vs. Evil series, Prom Dates from Hell, Hell Week, and Highway to Hell; and The Splendor Falls. Her next novel, Texas Gothic, will be released July 12.
