  • Sarah Terentiev – Silk and Steel has a call for submissions for an anthology. Deadline for submissions Feb 22.

  • Brooke Fossey – my book comes out in less than a month, here are invitations for my book launch party. Please RSVP, and if you say you will come, please do. 10 April, in Richardson. There will also be one at the flagship Half-price Books in Dallas.
  • Dana Swift – my book is available for pre-order everywhere books are sold. Cast in Firelight.
  • Eric Dixon – To the Waco people: If you have Android phones and you like my timer, you can download it to your phone.
  • Alan Crowley – friend who is doing book trailers – “I’ve been writing since the second grade. Books take on a life of its own. But at the end of the day, it’s about marketing. End-to-end marketing. If you have books that you want to promote, we have a marketing mix for you.”
  • FYI: Rosemary: if you are wondering if we are meeting due to snow/dinosaurs/etc. I always go by what the Euless school district is doing.

  • Sally Hamilton – Thank you everyone for bringing treats for the “sweet reads” meeting. We will have a room with reads for valentines/erotic reads.
  • Leslie Lutz – Dallas Public Library – there is a group of authors who will make appearances at the 29 branches of the library. You only hae to go to 4 meetings a year, for an hour each. This gets you on the librarian database, and possibly into circulation in the DFW library.
