- Mark Dye had five submissions unanswered
- Madeline, an agent rejected her YA fantasy but wants her to resubmit after moving agencies
- Ron Sole had two rejections on his YA novel.

- ??? Submitted all the art for her comic on Monday (Kindred Dragons, which will be out Oct. 14)

- Mark Dye got a phone call from New York (Jennifer Welch) and had some thoughts about his book. She said to revise and resubmit.

Additional Announcements:
- BJ says she has a book signing March 8th at the Talking Animals book store. It’s on Saturday from 2-4 PM. And possibly margaritas after the event.
- John Bartell says on March 29th, the second annual Quicksilver poetry event will happen here in the Grapevine Public Library. Shakespeare in Dallas will also be there.
- Harry Hall says March 8-9 and 15-16 will be the grand opening of the Larry Murtry Literary Center. On 15-16, Glenn Stout will be leading a 3-day session of writing nonfiction book proposals.
- Shawn Warner says March 1st will be the North Texas Teen Bookfest at the Irving Convention Center.
- Our next meeting in the Grapevine Library will be August 10th.
