This is a special event for us at the DFW Writers Workshop. Before David became our breakout success story, he was a mild-mannered librarian by day - who became a dice-rolling, fantasy-novel-writing, staying-up-way-too-late-gaming bibliophilic arch-nerd by night.

Nobody was more surprised than David when Ginny Goblin was first snatched up by agent Stephen Barr, then sparked a frenzied bidding war between the biggest publishers in the business, before finally selling in a two-book five-figure deal to Houghton Mifflin Harcourt.
