"Writing from an Editor's View" with Leslie Linton

In the age of self-publishing, even traditional publishers have different expectations for the editing done on manuscripts. When does a writer need to work with an editor? Which type of editor do you need? These questions and more will be covered in this discussion-based talk by editor, Leslie Linton. Leslie covers the role of an editor, the different types, and tips for seeing your prose from an editor's perspective. This discussion-based talk will help shine a light through the sometimes opaque role of an editor.

Meeting is held in the Basement Program room of the Richardson Public Library. Visitors are welcome. For more information, visit the Writers Guild of Texas.
